Empower Platinum Mentoring is the highest level of well-being support available for international students entering UK higher education. This premium service builds on our standard Well-Being Subscription by adding monthly in-person visits from an Empower founder during the first term. For parents, it offers peace of mind through discreet, respectful well-being updates* that ensure they stay connected and confident, even from thousands of miles away.

Here’s What’s Included?

Direct access to an Empower founder

Your child has a dedicated contact, a caring, experienced founder they can call for advice, emotional support, or help navigating the ups and downs of university life.

Monthly in-person check-ins

One of our founders personally visits your child once a month during the first term (three visits in total), offering warm, one-to-one support to ensure they’re settling in well, emotionally, socially, and practically.

Tailored guidance & problem-solving

We help your child tackle everything from time management and budgeting to social adjustment, academic stress, and cultural differences, giving them the tools to thrive.

Community connections

Where possible, we introduce Platinum students attending the same university so they can help build friendships, share experiences, and support each other from the start.

Parental reassurance (that universities cannot provide)

Due to UK privacy regulations, universities are not allowed to communicate directly with parents about a student’s well-being or academic situation. Empower fills this critical gap: after each visit (with the student’s formal consent under UK GDPR), we provide you with a brief well-being update, keeping you informed and reassured without intruding on your child’s independence.
